E Mail Policy Guidelines:
  • For Email Subscription, furnish the online application referring the URL: Online Subscription Forms .
  • For PSUs/Semi Government organisations, email ids are created under paid category. It is roughly 950+ tax for 5 years.
  • For GEM portal email creation, PSUs may apply using Gem User Subscription link and Government users have to apply through normal single/bulk subscription form.

    BAS Implementation in Central Government Organizations (Kochi Region)

    Biometric Attendance System (BAS) Implementation Status:

    • BAS Successfully Implemented in Office of the Official Liquidator and Registrar of Companies with the support of SDTC Kochi.
    • BAS implemented at NIC SDTC Kochi and all the Employees have started marking the Attendance since 09/02/2015.
    • SDTC Kochi coordinated in successfully implementing BAS in Kochi based Central Govt. Offices like Spices Board, Coir Board, CDB, NIFPHAT, Coast Guards, CMLRE, MPEDA, Mercantile and Marine Dept, CIFNET, Director of Defence Estates etc.
    • Biometric Attendance System (BAS) is being implemented in all other Central Govt. Offices in and around Kochi. For more details visit the site http://attendance.gov.in

    About Biometric Attendance System (BAS):

    As per Office Memorandum No: 11013/9/2014-Estt (A-II) dated 21/11/2014 from Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, AADHAR enabled Bio-Metric Attendance System (BAS) is being implemented in all Central Government offices (both attached and sub-ordinate offices) in India as part of the "Digital India" programme of Government of India.

    Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) along with National Informatics Centre (NIC) have already implemented Bio-metric Attendance System (BAS) in Central Government Ministries and Departments in Delhi. The system provides separate website for each organization. The system is hosted centrally in NIC Cloud. It is highly scalable and allows any organization to use the application with ease and with no cost on application. The only cost which organizations need to incur / invest relates to the inexpensive bio-metric devices and connectivity.

    All Central Government Organizations including sub-ordinate and attached offices may initiate necessary steps for on-boarding BAS in respect of respective organization as per the DOPT and MeitY instructions / guidelines (as given in website: http://attendance.gov.in), meeting the timelines of DOPT. Currently, UIDAI/STQC approved devices are available and the required hardware components, as per requirement, can be procured from the empaneled list following GFR rules and procurement norms. DGS&D is in the process of finalizing the rate contracts.
